Spigelian Hernia Repair

Repair of a rare hernia through the spigelian fascia of the abdominal wall.

A spigelian hernia is a rare type of hernia that occurs through the spigelian fascia — the layer of tissue along the outer edge of the rectus abdominis muscle. Because they are often hidden beneath the external oblique muscle, they can be difficult to diagnose without imaging.

All treatments begin with a medical assessment

Every patient is seen by our onsite doctor partner, Aega Health, before any procedure. This 15-minute assessment (£150) includes full clinical assessment, diagnosis, suitability review, and consent, ensuring your care is safe and tailored to you.
