Same-visit steroid injection — assessment and treatment in one appointment.
Cedar Park offers a same-visit steroid injection service. You are seen by our GP partner Aega Health for a full medical assessment, and where clinically appropriate, the injection is administered in the same appointment. This means you can get diagnosis and treatment without a second visit.
All treatments begin with a medical assessment
Every patient is seen by our onsite doctor partner, Aega Health, before any procedure. This 15-minute assessment (£150) includes full clinical assessment, diagnosis, suitability review, and consent, ensuring your care is safe and tailored to you.

What to Expect
Before

- Wear loose, comfortable clothing for easy access to the injection site
During
- Full clinical assessment by our GP
- Injection administered in the same visit where clinically appropriate
- Skin cleaned and local anaesthetic applied if needed
- Procedure takes approximately 20–30 minutes in total
After
- Discharged immediately after the procedure
- Avoid strenuous activity for 24–48 hours
- Symptom relief typically within 1–2 weeks
- Follow-up if symptoms persist
