Umbilical / Paraumbilical Hernia Repair

Open repair of umbilical or paraumbilical hernia under local anaesthetic.

An umbilical hernia occurs when tissue pushes through a weakness near the belly button. A paraumbilical hernia is similar but occurs just above or below the navel. Both are repaired through a small incision under local anaesthetic.

All treatments begin with a medical assessment

Every patient is seen by our onsite doctor partner, Aega Health, before any procedure. This 15-minute assessment (£150) includes full clinical assessment, diagnosis, suitability review, and consent, ensuring your care is safe and tailored to you.
