- Small incision or puncture made to access the vas deferens
- Vas deferens cut, tied, or sealed on both sides
- Procedure takes approximately 15–20 minutes
After
- Discharged same day with aftercare instructions
- 2 home sperm test kits included — used at 8 and 12 weeks
- Rest for 48 hours — avoid strenuous activity for 1 week
- Use contraception until sperm tests confirm success
- Vasectomy is considered permanent — reversal is not guaranteed
